We kennen allemaal ingesleten denkbeelden en stigma’s die bestaan rondom techniek. ‘Techniek is alleen voor jongens’, ‘ van techniek krijg je vieze handen’, ‘als je niet slim bent, moet je maar in de techniek gaan werken’ ect.
Deze vastgeroeste denkwijzen noemen we FRAMES.
Wij, vakmensen met hart voor techniek, weten natuurlijk allang dat deze frames niet kloppen. Maar tja, wat doe je eraan?

Zo begint het boek Vastgeroest wat is ontwikkeld door Sterk Techniek Onderwijs regio’s Noordwest Veluwe, Zwolle en Kampen.
Een boek waarin wordt stil gestaan bij de 10 techniekframes die zowel kunnen bestaan uit een positieve boodschap als een negatieve boodschap. Er wordt helder en kort omschreven hoe je deze frames juist kan inzetten of beter kan mijden, met als doel onze vastgeroeste denkbeelden door middel van taal te ontkrachten en direct om te vormen naar een beter passend denkbeeld.
Het boek ‘Vastgeroest’ is geschreven voor docenten, decanen, ondernemers, technici en ouders. Eigenlijk voor iedereen die techniek een warm hart toedraagt.
